ABC Screening Space Nova

Duration: 1 hour
14 April 1–2pm Powerhouse Museum

These school holidays the Powerhouse is partnering with ABC ME to present a premiere screening of the new Australian animated science-fiction series Space Nova.

It is the year 2162 and life is a blast for space-adventuring siblings Jet and Adelaide Nova and their parents Josie and Hugo. One day, during a routine research mission, the intrepid Aussie astronauts stumble across an abandoned alien spacecraft. Mysteriously, the craft appears to be powered by a rainbow substance so powerful that it can zip away at speeds humanity never dreamed possible.

ABC ME is an Australian children’s free-to-air television channel owned by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. It is an accessible online platform where school-aged children from Australia and around the world can watch the best stories, news and cartoons that reflect and celebrate the lives of young people.

Kids and their parents can catch the first two episodes on the big screen in the Powerhouse Theatrette.

This screening is recommended for ages 6 years and older.

The event is free, but bookings are essential.
