Dr Karl Kruszelnicki is Australia’s most notorious science communicator. He popularises science on ABC radio stations across Australia and on the BBC for several hours each week and each Thursday on triple j, answering science questions from all over the world. Karl has written 36 books, beginning with Great Moments in Science in 1985.
He has degrees in Physics and Maths, Biomedical Engineering, Medicine and Surgery and has worked as a physicist, tutor, filmmaker, car mechanic, labourer, and as a medical doctor at Sydney Children’s Hospital. Dr Karl is currently the Julius Sumner Miller Fellow at the University of Sydney, where his ‘mission’ is to spread the good word about science and its benefits.
