Join us at the historic Sydney Observatory to get an unrivalled view of the night sky as the city switches its lights off for Earth Hour 2020. Discover this inspiring global initiative and enjoy a free evening of community, astronomy and climate action. We will switch off the lights for an hour at 8:30pm, as we join with millions of others around the country showing support of climate change action.

Meet climate experts and enjoy hands-on activities for the family. Our astronomers will guide you through the wonders of the night sky with telescope viewings* and stargazing in the courtyard.

*This program is held regardless of the weather. If viewing the stars through the telescopes is not possible due to sky conditions, additional activities will be arranged.

Tickets are free but registration is essential.
