East Dome Tour for Seniors and Wheelchair Access

Explore Sydney’s Observatory’s newest dome and telescope and learn about space exploration, the history of Australian astronomy and the Sydney Observatory in this group tour led by an experienced astronomer.

We conduct tours for groups of up to 60 people. Larger groups from regional areas or interstate can be accommodated.

Tour Times

Monday to Friday at 10 and 12pm.

Evening tours can be arranged, please call +61 (02) 9217 0111 to enquire. Group tours run for 1 hour and 30 minutes and are held during school terms only.

How to Arrange a Group Tour

Bookings are essential. To make a booking, call +61 (02) 9217 0111 during office hours (8:30am – 4:30pm). Once you have secured a booking, you will receive a booking confirmation form and invoice. When you receive this information, check all booking details are correct before signing and returning the form.
