Duration: 6 hours
Creative Kids NSWWorkshop8 - 10 Years
21 April 2020, 10am–4pm Sydney Observatory Book Tickets

This is a one-day workshop.

Use the power of littleBits to build, prototype and program a droid! Learn about Artificial Intelligence and what it means to be a robot (or a droid, like R2D2!) while constructing circuits and creating prototypes of models with lights, switches and buzzers. Weather permitting, we will use our planetarium and telescopes to explore the sky. Learners go home with a cardboard creation of a planet biome.

Bringing lunch is essential as there is no cafe on site.

Please be sure to read our essential information for The Lab workshops.

Creative Kids vouchers are offered for this workshop. Find out more here. Creative Kids Logo

FAQs

What is littleBits?

littleBits is a system of components that snap together to easily create hardware. They include power, input, output and extension components to create digital projects.

We don’t have experience with littleBits or robots, can we still join in?

Yes, our educators will start with the very basic building blocks of littleBits and robotics.
