Unity Masterclass in Game Design (Ages 9-12)

Duration: 6 hours
Workshop9 - 12 Years
3&14 January 2019, 10am-4pm Powerhouse Museum Book Tickets

This is a one-day workshop.

Every award-winning game starts with a solid understanding of game design. In this masterclass, learn about the basics of level creation, music, theming and more, by taking a functional but minimal game and making it your own.

The role of the game designer is to make the game playable and enjoyable. Carefully craft levels that are engaging, going back to the first principles of game development. Using professional game production engine Unity 5, the principles explored can be used in any game development platform; the game will be playable on PC and Mac.

No need to make lunch these holidays: pre-purchase one of our new lunch packs instead! Please note there will be no access to the cafe on site during The Lab workshops.

Please be sure to read our essential information for The Lab workshops.
