Meet the Robots: Mars Rover

Join a space guide in January, as part of our Science and Technology month and meet a Mars lab rover. Watch this impressive robot in action as it roams the Museum floor and find out how robots are used in space exploration.

Demonstrations occur every weekend throughout January at 10:30, 12:00, 1:30 & 3:00.

  • Mars Rover experience is 30-minutes and is included in a general entry ticket.
  • Interactive activities remain suspended until restrictions ease.

  • To visit, simply arrive at the entry between 10am – 3.30pm and scan our QR code to enter at the door
  • Visitors wishing to pre-book their visit can do so here:
  • Join a Discovery Walkthrough with a Museum host highlighting their favourite objects in our Transport, Aviation, Design and Social History Collections.
  • Programs and activities remain suspended until restrictions ease.
