Junior Music Maker (Ages 6-7)

Duration: 6 hours
Workshop6 - 7 Years
21 January 2020, 10am-4pm Powerhouse Museum Book Tickets

This is a one-day workshop.

Let’s get the party started and have some fun with music. Play some musical games that encourage active listening, turn taking and cooperation.

Then using littleBits, create some spooky electronic sounds and dance along to awesome synthesizers. There will also be some time to experiment and invent your own electronic music.

Lastly, use iPads to make some music magic. Write your own songs using GarageBand, using the wide variety of instruments and pre-recorded loops on offer. The sky’s the limit!

No need to make lunch these holidays: pre-purchase one of our new lunch packs instead! Please note there will be no access to the cafe on site during The Lab workshops.

Please be sure to read our essential information for The Lab workshops.

What is littleBits?

littleBits is a system of components that snap together to easily create hardware. They include power, input, output and extension components to create digital projects.

We don’t have experience with littleBits or robots, can we still join in?

Yes, our educators will start with the very basic building blocks of littleBits and robotics.
