Launched in 2010 to mark Nick Waterlow’s contribution to the arts, the 2020 memorial lecture celebrates the work of young activists at the forefront of mobilising the public into political action for climate change. Sara Mansour, co-founder and artistic director of Bankstown Poetry Slam, will host an exciting online discussion with three activists; Ambrose Hayes (School Strike 4 Climate Australia), Amelia Telford (Seed Mob) and Grace Vegesana (Australian Youth Climate Coalition).
