Python Game Developer Just For Girls (Ages 10–13)

This is a one-day workshop for girls.

Learn about game logic, graphics and sound using PyGame, a Python module designed for game development. Create your own 2D classic arcade game using the python coding language.
Popular games such as Frets on Fire and Slingshot have been made with Pygame. This powerful language can be easily used for a range of games and products. Get programming with Python!

Digital learning programs at Sydney Observatory focus on premium learning experiences with a high facilitator to learner ratio. All courses cater for learners of differing abilities. The last half an hour of the workshop will be open for parents to view the participants’ work.

Note: This program runs at Sydney Observatory. There is no café so packed lunch is essential.
