Stop Motion Extravaganza (Ages 7–11)

19 April 2017, 10am-4pm

This is a one-day workshop.

Get busy with paper and clay! In this two-part workshop, spend the morning making your own paper stop-motion film with iPads. In the afternoon, mould your characters from clay and create your world, bringing it to life using the animation techniques made popular by the Wallace and Gromit film series and its TV show spin-off, Shaun the Sheep.

Participants will develop and use skills that will translate to any stop-animation software.

BONUS: The clay characters you create can be taken home!

Digital learning programs at ICE focus on premium learning experiences with a high facilitator to learner ratio. All courses cater for learners of differing abilities. The last half an hour of the workshop will be open for parents to view the participants’ work.

Note: This program runs at ICE. There is no café so packed lunch is essential.
