Valentine's Day at Sydney Observatory

Event18 - -3 Years
14 February 2018, 7–9.30pm Sydney Observatory

This popular event has now SOLD OUT.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day at the historic Sydney Observatory. Watch the sunset over Sydney Harbour from Sydney’s highest natural point and stargaze with a drink in hand after nightfall. Indulge in delicious canapés (gluten free and vegetarian options available) and be seduced by sensual music under the stars.

Guided by astronomical experts, peer through our amazing South Dome telescope (weather permitting*) — the oldest working telescope in Australia. On this special day you can explore the night sky through telescopes in our courtyard. Plus witness constellations mapped out in front of your eyes and see the night sky progress from dusk to dawn in high speed in our digital planetarium.

This event is Adults 18+ only.

*This program is held regardless of the weather. If viewing the stars through the telescopes is not possible due to sky conditions, other activities will be arranged. Tickets are non-refundable.

Love the night sky? Sydney Observatory is open evenings throughout the year for stargazing and tours, book online to explore the stars through our telescopes
