Racing Car (Ages 7–9)
16 or 17 January, 10am–12pm
Have your kids ever wondered how race cars work? Here’s their chance to find out! They’ll learn why different types of race cars are designed the way they are, how race cars get their power, how they go so fast, how to control their speed, plus so much more in this hands-on workshop.
Cars and Energy (Ages 7–9)
16 January, 1–3pm
Kids can explore various types of energy such as potential and kinetic and see how energy is converted from one form into another by getting hands-on with LEGO cars.
Getting Used to Gears (Ages 9 – 12)
17 January, 1–3pm
Kids will learn how manual transmission cars operate. They’ll discover gears and how they’re used to increase or decrease speed in a car before giving it a go themselves with LEGO car models.
