As the Meteorological Observations have been sometimes omitted in consequence of your necessary absence from Parramatta it seems desirable that you should if possible instruct some member of your family or inmate of the Asylum sufficiently to ensure the observations being correctly made in your absence.
I have to request your attention to the enclosed remarks on the observations which you have sent me.
