Daily cosmobite: the Southern Cross

The Southern CrossThis constellation is now fairly high in the south-eastern sky in the early evening. At least two of the five stars of the Cross have companion stars. A small telescope will show the brightest star, Acrux, as double, but it is harder to see the companion or companions of the second brightest star, Beta Crucis.
