Daily cosmobite: tonight’s sky

The Southern Cross over SO_Nick LombIn the early evening the Southern Cross is high up in the south-east. The twin stars Pollux and Castor are due north while to their left or west and higher up we find the bright stars of Orion the Hunter. Below them we can see the reddish star Aldebaran and below that the bright planet Jupiter.
