Observatory 14th August 89 The Govt Printer My dear Sir I have just discovered a mistake in the 1887 volume and hence write in the hope I may be in time to correct it. In the meteorological results for Wollongong for 1887 the height of the Barometer for July is printed 30.281 it should read 30.081 and the mean which is printed 30.083 should read 30.066 if there is time please have necessary correction made.

Observatory 22 July 1889 The Govt Printer My Dear Sir I find that when they put up the M.S. tables for Rain report for 1888 which was sent to you last week a mistake was made in sending on the tables of 1887 which had been already printed and cut out as samples of what were to be prepared: and the mistake was in sending these samples instead of tables of 1888 which I send now.
